Style File Find of the Week ( and Giveaway): Jean Strap

I'm always extremely excited when I get a chance to work with Bay Area brands, so when I reached out to the women behind Jean Straps, and got not only a prompt response but, a pair to try for myself I was beyond ecstatic. Jean Straps is year old a company that was created in San Francisco by Tni Newhoff and Erin Tocalino, the Jean Straps purpose is simple it's the solution to tucking your jeans into your boots. The straps attach to the bottom of your jeans turning them into a stirrup hybrid which makes them easy to slip right into your boots without any bulk or bunching. I was lucky I received mine just before this rainy weekend, and they came in handy for tucking some of my favorite boot cut jeans in to my riding boots. Not only make are Jean Straps functional, and easy to use, but they are also reasonable a $9.99 a pair, so why not get a pair for yourself, and these your go to stocking stuffer for this Holiday Season.
How do they work:

  • Pick a place on your jeans above the hemline. If your jeans are too long to get a snug fit, cuff them 1 inch at a time until you have the desired length. Be sure to pick an area above the hemline or cuff so the smaller part of the metal frame only comes in contact with one layer of denim

  • Open the garter clip and place the garter tab ( the white, rubber piece) inside your jeans and the metal frame on the outside.

  • Align the garter tab with the center of the large part of the frame. While holding the garter tab tightly, pull the metal frame in the opposite direction and guide the garter tab into the smaller part of the frame. Depending on the thickness of your denim, this may take a little more or less pressure.

There is also a really cool video if you need a visual on how to use the Jean Straps

Want a pair for yourself............
