Mulberry in San Francisco!

 Exterior of Grant Street Location

If you’ve been walking near Grant Street in San Francisco you’ve may have notice that a new neighbor has moved in, in the form of Mulberry.  And the wait to visit your new neighbors new  three floors (plus a mezzanine), with 3,100 square feet  digs is over the Mulberry store located  at 166 Grant Avenue, San Francisco, California, 94108  is officially open.  The Grant Street location is  the first of the British luxury brand to be located in San Francisco. The Grant St. Mulberry location was designed to fit into the landscape of the beautiful city by the bay, but was also modeled after the London Flagship store.

The shop houses designs from Creative Director Emma Hill, who’s Fall 2012 looks were inspired by my favorite book as a child “Where the Wild Things Are”. Included in the store are handbags made carried and made famous by Alexa Chung, Sarah Jessica Parker, and the newest Del Ray bag inspired by music’s ingénue Lana Del Ray. But don’t mistake Mulberry for just handbags Emma Hill’s collections have produced stunning clothing and shoes which are also housed the white tiled floor space of the Grant Street store.

And in the future be ready to do more than just shop the second floor gallery space for pop up exhibitions and collaborative projects, which I’m sure will be a gathering space for the fashion forward artist of the Bay Area.

Stop by the store, to make a purchase, check out the floor space, or potentially collaborate on the next art exhibition.
