Beauty Quickie: TRESemme Freshstart

Waterless Foam Shampoo

HOW (it looks, smells , cost etc):
This mousse is actually a waterless shampoo which refreshes you locks in between full shampoos and conditioning. This particular formulation is for "curly/dry hair" ( which I disagree with because I have straight relaxed hair and it works for me). It smells fabulous, like a citrus basket with the faintest hint of floral which dissipates after about 10 minutes. You simply pump 2-3 in the palm of your hand and work it though similar to your regular shampoo, then rub with a towel and style as normal. You'll have a little moisture to your hair after the application but it will dry within 2 minutes. You can find it at any drug store and it cost between $3.50 to 4.50.

Water, TEA-lauryl, Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, Linalool, Limonene, Butaylphenyl Methylpropional, Amyl cinnamal, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Geraniol, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Witch Hazel, Bark/Leaf/Twig extract, Tangarine Extract, Grapfruit Extract

CVS, Target, Walgreens....basically your local drugstore

I pretty much love this product, as a "black girl" we don't wash our hair every day anyway and as a "black girl" who works out, and runs frequently my hair gets sweaty and dirty so this is my saviour. I've been using this for about two weeks, and my hair looks as if I've come out of the salon after every use. This product states it's for curly/dry hair but I'm willing to guess it can be used on all types of hair no matter the nationality or the texture. This product definitely removes the grim, and film from your hair without stripping you of vital moisture. It also doesn't leave that nasty white film all over like the spray versions of waterless shampoos.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars (Excellent)
