Best of Met Ball 2012

This years Costume Institute Gala aka Met Ball brought out the who's who in fashion, film, and music as usual. After looking a most of the pictures via twitter post, and sitting down and having a closer look online I think this year wasn't as impressive as years before, there were no real show stopper gown, well other than Beyonce's dress which some adore, and others think is horrible.  I didn't think it was her best look, the see thru was a little much, but her body is amazing and her makeup was flawless, she still didn't make me best list.

Amber Heard in Zac Posen Fall/Winder 2012/2013

Amber Heard is almost always flawless, and this is no exception the color looks beautiful on her subtly tanned skin, the fit is perfection and the old Hollywood Glam looks works for her.

Carey Mulligan  in a bespoke Prada two-tone sequin dress

Huge Carey Mulligan fan, I like that she can change her look from plain jane to uniquely glam. This dress is unique, fun, and fits her perfectly.  I don't love the shoes, but I'm letting them slide. The hair and make up combined with the dress give you a futuristic retro look that totally works.

J. Mendel Dress ,  Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes

Hello there Claire! This is definitely a different look for Claire and I'm loving it the makeup and hair are number one for me she looks fresh ( glowing), and youthful, the twist on Betty Draper's hair is amazing as well. The dress is chic and gives her curves a boost.

Douglas Booth in Burberry

By far the best dressed man, Tom Brady a runner up ( loving his new hair). This Velvet suit is beautiful, and not at all corny, pimpish, or costumey. It is tailored perfectly for him. Amazing!

Diane Kruger in Prada

Sorry folks I'm a Diane Kruger Stan (Stalker+Fan), and she rarely does wrong. This looks is chic, carefree, fun, and signature Diane Kruger. She's managed to pull of what is a gown version of the summer maxi dress, embellished with ostrich feathers of course. Love It!
