Shoptalk: Cocobop

In the past year there has been an boom in the "box buy" programs. These are programs where you set up an account and each month you pay a flat amount and you get a certain product, such as Birchbox for makeup and skincare, or Julep Maven for nail polish. There are also these programs for clothes and shoes as well, I personally have done the shoe program before and let me tell you I hated it, I felt it was such a rip off, and I didn't like being charged for something monthly even though I didn't purchase and item.

Jungle Love Ring

Bay Area brand, Cocobop which just launched February 1st turns the entire "box buy" program on it's head and has created such a different shopping experience, one that in the past has been exclusively for the super rich.  Every month Cocobop puts together a  30-piece collection filled with necklaces, bracelets, handbags, scarves, earrings, shoes and sunglasses. I know you're saying to yourself, that's what every other brand does, but  Cocobop actually allows you to pick out to 4 items from the 30 piece collection to be sent to you without paying for anything. Pick your mouth up off of the floor, yes you pay nothing you get to try 4 items out in the comfort of your own home, and you don't pay anything until you pick and item of your choice, and then and only then are you charged $24.94.

So technically every month you can spend anywhere from $0 (if you don't like anything) to $100 (if you are in love with all 4 items you've picked).  This program is totally risk free, the only investment you're making is another monthly email and that's not a huge risk. If you are interested in joining Cocobop, make sure you head over to the site and browse this months items. Happy Shopping!

I'm curious what the quality of the accessories are? Similar to Target? Forever 21? Or higher end?

Tara, I would say it's department store level quality.
