Beauty Quickie: Carol’s Daughter Monoi (REPAIRING) hair mask

WHO: Carol’s Daughter Monoi (REPAIRING) hair mask

WHAT:
Deep conditioning, reparative Hair Mask

HOW (it looks, smells , cost etc):
This creamy ivory hair  mask has only the faint scent of it’s  key ingredient Monoi Oil which is hardly noticeable, the cream is similar to a very creamy conditioner and cost $29 for 7oz

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Manoi Oil, and free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances and dyes.

WHERE TO BUY:
Sephora, Sephora.com, QVC, carolsdaughter.com

THE VERDICT:
This hair mask is a part of a line of Monoi repairing treatments (Shampoo, and conditioner) and is recommended to be used with at least the Shampoo for best results. The studies done for this treatment was on natural and relaxed African American and Latin hair. I have relaxed hair and I cannot fully back the claims of 96% experienced a reduction in hair breakage and shedding during detangling and styling, 20% experienced an increase in hair strength. What I can say that combing though my hair and the detangling of it was greatly improved compared to other hair mask. As well as it retaining a healthy glow after it was dried

Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars (Good)
