Next week there is going to be an amazing even benefiting one of the Bay Area’s most popular places the Oakland Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA). I’m excited for the event not only because it’s charitable, but because it’s located at one of my favorite places 4th Street in Berkeley, and it involves TOMS which is not only a wonderful brand, but also donates 1 pair of shoes to children in need for every pair that you buy (1 for 1). All you have to do is buy a pair of TOMS from Convert and a local artist will customize them for you for $10 ($5 will go to the artist and $5 to support MOCHA)
What: Convert and TOMS Style Your Soles!
When: Saturday, March 26, 1pm-5pm
Where: Convert, 1809B Fourth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710, 510-649-9759
Of course there are bonuses, Kids or Adults can participate in a coloring contest for a chance to win “7 years of TOMS” (1 pair a year), and even if you don’t win you can visit the enjoy snacks, drinks, or the retro candy bar.
