Out and About with BASF: HBn3D - Headbanger Accessories

For all of you that didn't attend the HBn3D event I mentioned a few weeks back shame on you for missing one of the hottest fashion events to hit the Bay Area. On November 13, 2010 The Crucible was transformed into a 3D and blacklight dream. The fashion show was part Victoria Secret, and part Black Girls Rock a truly eye catching and captivating experience. But the fashion show wasn’t all that was displayed that night, Headbanger Accessories also debut their Fall/Winter 2010-11 line also named HBn3D. This particular line incorporates all the classic textures, and shapes of past collections, but what makes this one a different is the dimension (hence 3D), new textures, and color combination. The line also has expanded this collection in addition to the trademark earrings you can also find necklaces, bracelets, men’s shirts/accessories, and brooches.

The ladies behind Headbanger Accessories are truly taking the line to the next level, and are incorporating classic techniques into their creativity, by working with story and mood boards creating a cohesive vision before they even created the first piece.

Here are some of my favorite pieces of the collection:

"Special Spirals" - 100% Suede Spiral hand painted earrings (Retail $95)

"Hip Star" one of the lines necklaces. Each necklace is one of a kind

and is also hand painted. (Retail Price $125)

"Girls Rock" Classic HB Accessories with a 3D twist and a ode to Audrey Hepburn

the lining of these earrings are leather (Retail $65)

HBn3D is not yet available online, but I will keep you posted when the new collection is available for purchase online. If you can’t wait there will be a private sale and showing of the collection in a couple of weeks if you would like to attend please contact
